Accessories are a must-have staple this spring. They add just the right touch to an outfit. They can be used to draw attention to your strong points or take attention away from your imperfections.
The spring trends for accessories are being focused on earrings, bracelets, belts and purses. In previous seasons necklaces were the rage, being chunky and bold, but they are on their way out and earrings are taking their place as the focal point. Stand-out fashion this season will be earrings. They are dangly, large and some will even hang past your shoulders. Bracelets are also big and bold this season. They are done in bright colors in bangles or a cuff style. You will see these bracelets in rhinestones, sequins and some metallics as well.
Belts are also trendy this season. They are being worn in many different ways and styles. They are the thick bold belt that may be done in any bright color or in earth tones. The stylish skinny belt is also made in an array of colors or earth tones. Also, the dramatic corset clincher belt is usually seen in black or brown and is worn around the waist to emphasize the hourglass figure. The skinny belt and the thick belts can be worn below the breast, around the waist or on the hips.
Now on to purses, which are also a trend popular for this spring. There were a lot of fashion models carrying them on the runway this spring. It’s time to start cleaning out purses, because this season they are smaller. Larger clutch purses come with long straps, or the really small clutches are just handheld. The boxy-style purses with short straps are being done in sherbet colors.
Tribal is everywhere this spring. You will see tribal beading, prints and fringe done in jewelry and purses, as well as clothing.
Well, I think we have covered everything from head to toe for spring. It’s time to start focusing on summer since it’s just around the corner.
